Hey there, and welcome!

My name is Emma, and I am the owner and creative designer behind Louise & Leigh. Located in sunny coastal Hervey Bay Queensland, I design and make handmade accessories.

I grew up dancing for 14 years of my life, so creativity comes to me in many ways. I remember when I was younger, searching for fun hair scrunchies, and when I couldn’t find what I wanted, I started making my own to wear to dance classes.

When the world changed in 2020, Event Management became an obsolete career. I ventured into Administration, but it was not creative enough for me. In 2021 I was inspired to reinvigorate my passion for making scrunchies, and also found a new creative avenue of Polymer Clay, which my sister introduced me to.

My business came to fruition, and the name Louise & Leigh was founded by combining my sister and my own middle names together.

My business is a family affair, with my sister helping out by creating Polymer Clay gradients, and my Mum helps out with sewing!

So again, welcome to Louise & Leigh, where I get to create and make handmade accessories which is something I love to do, and I hope you love them too.
